What I think, is not the key! What matters is what God wants and what you
believe God is calling us to do as we go forward here at Peace, in the grace
and power of God!

To that end, we plan to have Fireside Chats.
The time schedule I am now looking at is October 24 – November 11. I would hope to see as many members and friends of Peace Lutheran join in one of these ‘Chats’. We will take notes of every idea, etc. that is shared. These notes will then be passed on to the Interim Task Force who will go through this material as well as have their own conversations with community leaders, gather info from demographic studies, etc. as they prepare a report for the congregation…. That report, if accepted by the congregation, will then be sent on to district for the beginning of our Call Process. I would hope to see us beginning our call process by no later than May 17, maybe sooner. We will see.

First Fruits – Stewartship
Also, I intend to have a first-fruit, stewardship, His Love-Our Response
emphasis on the weekends of November 6 & 13 with a “His Love-Our
Response” opportunity for commitment on the weekend of November 20.
Many details yet to be worked out! These responses of commitment and
love for God will be a big part in determining what we are able to share as
our proposed (and balanced) ministry support plan for 2023.
